A native of Evansville, Crystal joined BARBER & BAUER LLP after working as a lead litigation partner in a national law firm where she frequently traveled to courts throughout the Midwest to pursue and defend complicated civil litigation matters. She has practiced law for more than fifteen years.

Crystal holds licenses in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. Her legal experience spans across counties in those states in all areas of litigation, employment law, business law, real estate, and probate. Crystal works as a problem-solver for individuals and businesses. She's an effective and strategic advocate, always mindful of her client's best interests, whether those be in achieving early resolution or pursuing the case through jury trial.

Crystal is experienced in:

  • Advising businesses as outside counsel on employment, contract, and insurance matters;
  • Appearing as counsel for employers and employees in charges of discrimination and claims involving wrongful termination, non-competition, and other employment-related disputes;
  • Serving as advisor to entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and small businesses to plan business strategies and develop entities, policies, and procedures to comply with relevant law; and
  • Advocating for injured and aggrieved persons in personal injury, business, and family disputes.

Crystal achieved her certification as a civil mediator in 2021. As a mediator with jury trial and multiparty litigation experience, Crystal understands the risks and benefits involved in litigation. She is a credible neutral, equally committed to serving as an independent voice, as well as ensuring the parties appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of their cases before investing in a trial.

Crystal's passion for her hometown and clients in the tri-state area led her to choose to practice law at a truly local law firm where she shares her extensive and wide-ranging experience with clients. Crystal volunteers and supports non-profit organizations, including Youth First, Inc., Rotary Club of Evansville, and Resurrection School and Parish.
